Therapy is a courageous act that can be deeply transformative.

Join me in co-creating a compassionate process of releasing pain, building new patterns, and accessing your authentic joy.

My Approach

My practice is focused on creating a compassionate, collaborative environment where you can explore, challenge, and identify what does and does not serve your growth and well-being. Through our shared curiosity, we can work to create meaningful change in your life and keep you moving always closer to authentic living.

I am committed to creating a simultaneously safe and challenging therapeutic space that honors each person’s unique background and promotes empowerment, resilience, and growth. I utilize an integrative approach that is strengths-based, honors multiculturalism, and is grounded in trauma-informed care. I have a particular interest in working with you to seek meaning and explore the complexities of your identity. I am passionate about the ways in which self-understanding can help you deepen connections and foster joy.

I provide evidence-based therapy tailored to your needs and symptoms, informed by humanistic-existential, relational, narrative, psychodynamic, neuropsychological, and social justice approaches, along with integrating somatic, Dialectical (DBT), and Flash treatment modalities to deepen trauma processing and healing. The integration of these perspectives allows me to provide holistic care that supports lasting improvement in your mental health and overall well-being.

Expertise & Specialties

Zen Garden Sand

Minority Mental Health & Identity Development

My practice is rooted in honoring how culture, systemic inequities, and lived experiences shape psychological well-being. I provide culturally responsive, affirming care that supports individuals as they explore intersections of their identity, navigate discrimination or marginalization, and build a cohesive sense of self. I am particularly experienced in multiracial identity processes, am explicitly LGBTQIA+ affirming, and committed to racial justice as foundational to my orientation and practice.

Chronic & Acute Trauma

I work from a deep understanding of how prolonged and acute trauma impacts emotional regulation, self-concept, relationships, and the nervous system. My approach is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care that prioritizes safety, stabilization, and empowerment while supporting meaningful processing and integration of traumatic experiences. I work collaboratively to help individuals restore a sense of control, build resilience, and move toward lasting healing.

Young Adulthood

While I work across the lifespan, I provide trainings and expertise in working with young adults in psychotherapy, supporting them through the developmental challenges of emerging adulthood, including identity formation, relationship concerns, academic challenges, career transitions, and emotional regulation. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping young adults build insight, confidence, and practical coping skills while navigating increased independence and life transitions.
